WVRC has a full-time opening for the position of Traffic Reporter. The candidate must be able to communicate local traffic conditions in a style conclusive to radio. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and organizing traffic information from multiple sources. This position requires the candidate to be available to work a split shift (morning/evening drive times) work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned. The position will also incorporate production tasks and air talent shifts. This position offers a full benefits package.
This position requires the candidate to have basic computer skills, organization and multi-tasking skills, familiarity with broadcast equipment, 1-2 years related work experience, reliable transportation and the ability to work split shifts, weekends and holidays.
